Hiking and trekking

All around, sea-view trails, ancient mule tracks and silent woods wind their way through the landscape.
From gentle strolls to challenging scenic routes, there are itineraries for all levels here. The campsite's location is ideal for setting off on a new excursion every day: from the Mare e Monti cycle and walking path to the trails immersed in the Cinque Terre Park.

Free climbing on the area's most iconic rock

Looking for a different kind of adventure, something more vertical? Liguria won't let you down. 
Just a few minutes from the campsite is ‘La Sfinge’, one of the most fascinating cliffs in eastern Liguria, much loved by rock climbing enthusiasts.  
You can walk there from the campsite, and it offers numerous equipped routes on limestone rock.
It's nestled in nature, with open views of the valley and the sea.
Are you an expert or just starting out? Climbing in this natural setting is something you'll never forget.

  • Mare e Monti Cycle and Walking Path
    Connecting Levanto, Bonassola and Framura, overlooking the sea and built on a former railway line. Easy, scenic and perfect for families.
  • Monterosso – Vernazza Trail
    One of Cinque Terre's most iconic stretches, with vineyards, terraces and stunning views of the coast, will leave you speechless.
  • Deiva Marina – Moneglia – Lemeglio loop
    A nature-and-sea route starting from the village, with open views and woodland trails.
  • Framura – Costa – Salto della Lepre
    A circular route for people looking for a more rugged walk, through wooded areas and along cliffs overlooking the sea.

Bike and cycle path

By bike, Liguria reveals a different rhythm: slower, smoother, more immersive.
From Camping Costabella, you can set off on easy coastal rides or take on more challenging routes through hills, pine forests and panoramic views. Here, a bike is more than just a way to get around: it’s how you truly experience the area.

    It connects Framura, Bonassola and Levanto along a former railway line overlooking the sea. Cool tunnels, unforgettable views and direct access to hidden coves. Not to be missed!
  • Framura – Anello di Costa – Salto della Lepre (MTB)
    A mixed route with dirt tracks and panoramic views, perfect for those looking for a little more adrenaline and elevation gain.
  • Deiva Marina – Passo del Bracco (MTB)
    A more challenging route, suitable for experienced cyclists: woods, bends and outstanding views of the Gulf of Tigullio.
  • Levanto – Monterosso
    A short yet charming route to alternate cycling with beach breaks or, why not, sea-view aperitifs.

Beaches and sea

In Liguria, the sea is not just a backdrop: it’s a living presence. From the campsite, you can easily reach the beaches, dive in, explore hidden coves, sail between seaside villages and bays, or simply listen to the sound of the waves. Sand, rocks, pebbles or boat trips: choose your own way to experience the blue.

  • Fornaci Beach – Deiva Marina
    One of the area's most beautiful and pristine beaches, awarded the Blue Flag. Perfect for relaxing, swimming and sunbathing, just a few minutes from the campsite.
  • Bonassola and Framura
    Two authentic beaches, with a mix of sand and rocks. Accessible by bike or footpath, they boast crystal-clear waters and stunning sunsets.
  • Levanto
    Wide and sandy, it's perfect for families but also for those who love surfing or SUP.
  • Boat trips or trips with a skipper
    Set off from Deiva, Moneglia or Levanto and head for Palmaria, Portovenere, San Fruttuoso or Portofino. Sailing along the coast is an experience in itself. Imagine what it's like to moor there.

Trips and excursions

From the peaceful setting of the campsite, every day is the perfect opportunity for a new discovery: cliffside villages, elegant seaside towns, adventure parks and historic cities. Some destinations are just minutes away by train, others by car or by boat. Wherever you choose to go, you’re perfectly placed to set off.

Not to be missed

  • Cinque Terre
    A UNESCO World Heritage Site with five villages nestled between the sea and vineyards. You can get there by train or boat, stress-free and without a car. Walking from one village to another is one of the most authentic ways to explore them. An experience to try at least once in your life.
  • Portofino
    Elegance, nature and picture-postcard views are the hallmarks of this renowned town. You can get there by boat or take a romantic scenic walk to the lighthouse. Its marina is one of the most iconic in Italy. Don't miss it.
  • Camogli
    Colourful houses, seafood focaccia and a laid-back atmosphere, typical of a seaside fishing village. Choose Camogli for a leisurely day of walks, photos and local flavours.
  • San Fruttuoso
    Can only be reached by sea or on foot, making it very exclusive. It features a hidden bay and a truly unique abbey. It's also famous for the Christ of the Abyss statue, which lies at the bottom of the sea in the area. Ready to dive in?
  • Palmaria and Portovenere
    A boat trip and you're in these wild, picturesque corners, perfect to explore for a day. Portovenere, with its tower houses and lights when evening falls, is a picture-postcard village.
  • Genoa – Aquarium and historic center
    Italy's largest aquarium, perfect for families, is not far from the campsite by car.
    Take a stroll through the Old Port and the narrow streets and explore a vibrant, surprising city.
  • Brugnato Cinque Terre Outlet Village
    It's not just nature in these parts. Take a break from your backpack and enjoy some well-deserved shopping at this outlet, which offers over 70 boutiques. Just a 20-minute drive away, it's a good plan B in case of bad weather.
  • Val di Vara Adventure Park / Indian Forest
    About an hour's drive away, they offer tree-top trails, zip lines and activities for adults and children.
    An excellent alternative for an adrenaline-filled day in nature.

Nature and time for you
